Rain is falling this morning over parts of Alabama, and it looks like showers are a good bet statewide today. Clouds and showers will keep daytime temperatures in the 70's today.
Will need to keep a good chance of showers and storms in the forecast over the weekend. The sun will pop out at times tomorrow with a high in the mid 80s.
Sunday and the first half of next week look extremely wet. Looks like a week of occasional showers and thunderstorms, with daytime temperatures below average due to the rain. Wet will be the word with rainfall totals over 2 inches certainly possible.
Football - For tonight’s high school games, there is a decent chance of any stadium having a shower or thunderstorm, and they will be most likely during the first half of the games.
Florida International @ Alabama 6pm and Mississippi State @ Auburn 6pm - For both games, the sky will be mostly cloudy with a passing shower or thunderstorm possible. Temperatures will drop from near 80 degrees at kickoff to the mid 70s by the fourth quarter.
JSU @ Florida St 4pm - Showers and thunderstorms likely. Cloudy, with a kickoff temperature near 84. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
