Oh Boy, Wet Weather Continues

I wish I could bring news of a drier forecast and less humidity. Not going to happen anytime soon. We look to be stuck in wet mood for at least the next 5 days. Cloudy skies and rain is a good bet each day through Monday. And even further into next week, rain chances will still be high. Some areas in Alabama have already received over 2 inches of rain. The latest precipitation forecast (see map) from the NWS calls for an additional 4 inches over the next 5 days. Ouch!
Obviously with the rain, temperatures will be below normal. Highs will be in the upper 70's and low to mid 80's if the sun breaks through.

Football forecast:

Area High School Football (Friday night): Cloudy with showers likely. It won't rain at every stadium, but take the rain gear. Temperatures around 77F at kickoff.

West Virginia @ Auburn - 6:45pm: Cloudy with showers likely. Will not rain the entire game. Game time temperature around 80F.

North Texas @ Alabama - 11:30am: Rain likely most of the game. Game time temperature at 76F

UAB @ Troy - 2:30pm: Cloudy with rain likely during the game. Game time temperature at 82F.

JSU @ Alabama A&M - 6:00pm: Up in Huntsville the story is much the same. Cloudy with periods of rain possible. Game time temperature of 80F.
